Add water to the inner tank up to the fill line and 4-5 drops essential oil, then plug it in and push the on button. It has an automatic shut off when water level gets too low to prevent damage.

Tips for using your essential oil diffuser

• When using your diffuser for the first time, use warm water to encourage a heavy mist.
• If you put water in your diffuser for the first time and no mist is coming out, you may have filled it too full. Remove some water and try again.
• Wipe your essential oil diffuser out with a clean, damp cloth in between use. This will help your diffuser from getting clogged and lasting a long time.
• If you put water in your essential oil diffuser and no steam is coming out or the light is flashing, this means the water sensor is clogged. Empty the diffuser and use a clean, damp cloth to wipe the small metal piece sticking out in the bottom of the diffuser. This is the water sensor and will help to unclog it.
• Do not use distilled water. It is lacking minerals the ultrasonic diffuser needs to create the cool mist.
