Neroli is steam distilled from the flowers of the bitter orange tree. Orange essential oil comes from the sweet orange tree. Our current batch is from Morocco. If you have ever smelled an orange tree when it's blooming, that is what neroli essential oil smells like. It got it's name from a 16th century Italian Princess who loved the oil and wore it as a perfume. Her name was Nerola.

Put 1 drop on a cotton ball and breathe deeply when feeling stressed with a racing heart
Add 3 drops to an essential oil necklace. Wear your necklace with neroli if you are having anger issues or getting upset for no reason. This would also be good to do before giving a presentation or speech.

A great oil to diffuse for babies with upset tummies that have a hard time sleeping. 1 or 2 drops of neroli in the diffuser is sufficient.

Neroli is generally a safe oil with no known safety issues. That being said, always dilute when using neroli or any essential oil on the skin. Visit our dilution rate guide for recommendations. Do not use essential oils topically with children under 2. Neroli is a good oil to diffuse for infants. 1 to 2 drops in a diffuser is recommended.
Animals are sensitive to essential oils, especially cats and smaller furry friends. Never put essential oils on cats or other small pets fur. When using essential oils with dogs or other animals consult a holistic vet for advice on how to use them safely.
