Sandalwood essential oil has an affinity for the throat. It is good for sore throats, tickly coughs, dry aging skin and staying grounded in the Present moment.
Sandalwood has a soft, woody aroma and is a thicker oil than most. Sandalwood has been used for over 2,000 years. It is highly prized in East Indian cultures and there is a high supply and demand for it. The essential oil is steam distilled from the heart of the wood or the trunk and the roots. It does not produce an essential oil until the tree is 30 years old. Because of this it is important to replant and or regenerate existing trees that have been harvested. Sandalwood is a precious oil and each drop you use should be fully appreciated.

[…] What’s Unique: While there are many unique attributes to this brand, what really stands out to me are their inhalers. Their ‘Breathe’ inhaler is one of their best sellers and I can definitely tell why. I feel icy and refreshed each time I use this inhaler and have started forming a habit of using it while working on the computer. You can check out their complete aromatherapy inhaler line here. […]
