Tamanu oil is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and cicatrisant
healing skin on a cellular level. It is
a must have in skin preparations for wound healing and bruising. Good for
sores, bug bites, dry, cracked skin, after sun care and razor burn.

Kokokahn's Tamanu Oil is of the highest quality. It is cold pressed from the nut kernel of the Calophyllum inophyllum. Cold pressed carrier oils are the most therapeutic. Refined carrier oils are refined through high heat processing or chemical solvents which strip the carrier of any natural health benefits and can leave chemical solvent residue in the oil. While the shelf life is shorter with cold pressed carrier oils, the quality is far superior. Tamanu oil has a shelf life of 4 years from the time it is cold pressed. Our current batch was cold-pressed June 2022.

Tamanu oil is a rich green or dark brown color and has a thicker viscosity with a curry-like aroma.

Wound Soothing Blend

• 1 ounce tamanu oil


• 4 drops lavender essential oil


• 4 drops helichrysum essential oil


• 4 drops frankincense essential oil


• 4 drops copaiba essential oil

Add essential oil drops to the tamanu oil. Cap and shake well. Apply to wounds two to three times daily.
