Essential Oils for Pain

There are many essential oils that can ease muscular aches and pains. Most of them can be skin irritating so it is always a good idea to dilute them in a carrier oil like jojoba or coconut oil. Here is a list of some of the essential oils for pain available. All of the essential oils listed below are anti-inflammatory and analgesic or pain relieving. Make sure to check out the recipe for making your own essential oil blend to use topically on sore muscles.

Essential Oils for Pain

Topical Blend for Aches & Pains

  • Choose 1 to 3 of the above essential oils.
  • Pour 2 Tablespoons carrier oil (jojoba, olive or other) into a clean empty bottle
  • Add a total of 15-20 drops of the essential oils you choose to the carrier oil
  • Cap and shake
  • Apply as needed to muscle aches and pains
